Tom Ford Fall 2013 RTW London Fashion Week

As a former New Yorker, (It's forever in our blood.) I love NYFW, but London usually comes out on top with some of the best collections...in my opinion, of course. This RTW collection from Tom Ford was over-the-top and full of energy. The rich colors and vibrant patterns paired with intricately laced gowns, furs, and luxurious bead-work, made for a decadent, but modern collection. The bright colored florals, tribal prints, and leather poncho's, were quite reminiscent of traditional South American fashion, which I love. The show as a whole, felt like a glamorous display of dress-up clothes better suited for an exhibit at the MOMA, than a person's closet. And that is not a bad thing!

Versace Pre Fall 2013

Nobody knows a woman's vixen side quite like Donatella Versace. Like all of her collections, this one was amped with confidence and sex appeal, with looks that were both fun, exciting, yet still sophisticated. Not to reference SATC yet again, but these outfits are a perfect combination of both Samantha and Carrie. The gold accents, fur pieces, and tailored trousers and jackets, make for a collection of looks that will take you from the office to a swanky night out, no change needed!

3.1 Phillip Lim Pre Fall 2013

My good friend Isaac texted me last night urging me to look at this collection immediately, and I was left drooling over my phone as I perused the slideshow. Now, I have begun digging through the latest pre-fall 2013 collections, and I can't stop myself! Lim is truly a professional when it comes to creating modern and sleek pieces that possess just enough edge to set them apart from the rest of the runway trends. I love the clean lines and tailored structure of each look. The layering was very strategic as well as the zipper and leather detailing. Each of these designs make for a functional yet very fashion forward  wardrobe. Be sure to check out the entire collection at Style.com!
