Like Mother Like Daughter

Even if these photos weren’t a projection of my own personal dream of growing up with a mother, or having a daughter of my own someday, I would still find this editorial to be the most charmingly adorable mother/daughter photo shoot that I have ever seen! Oh, and what a beautiful pair they are!

I MISS, I MISS

School keeps me pretty busy for the most part, so I havn't had a chance to paint or sketch in far too long! Also, the fact that all my supplies are at home, making it rather impossible even if i did have a spare hour or two. I used to sketch or paint all the time, especially when I was upset or just feeling inspired. I can't wait until i have my own place, I'm going to set up my own inspirational area to have all the art time I want in. I'm scared i have lost all my skill! :( I must resume or I may forget all together!

What's not to love about this shoot?! I love the colors the sun casts over the silhouettes of Isabeli, her skin, her hair, the fabrics of her dress, the trees--it all creates a beautiful and soft focus. I always love the way people look in photographs when the sun is shining down on them, it creates a sense of natural but inevitable beauty.
