Topshop Unique Fall 2013 RTW (London Fashion Week)

Topshop is the epitome of London cool, and luckily they have brought their "cool-girl chic" fashions to the states. Although, Seattle has yet to get a flagship store :(.  Anyhow, this collection from LFW was super chic, super modern, with a mix of both luxurious sophistication and rock-star glam. Quite the mix, but nothing represents a Brit's sense of cool better than mixing low brow fashions with high-end pieces. The messy hair and blue eyeshadow adds to the care-free "just-threw-this-together" feel. As if anyone just throws together outfits that cost more than the average person's life! I am so excited to visit London this spring and see/shop all the fashion sites!

Tom Ford Fall 2013 RTW London Fashion Week

As a former New Yorker, (It's forever in our blood.) I love NYFW, but London usually comes out on top with some of the best collections...in my opinion, of course. This RTW collection from Tom Ford was over-the-top and full of energy. The rich colors and vibrant patterns paired with intricately laced gowns, furs, and luxurious bead-work, made for a decadent, but modern collection. The bright colored florals, tribal prints, and leather poncho's, were quite reminiscent of traditional South American fashion, which I love. The show as a whole, felt like a glamorous display of dress-up clothes better suited for an exhibit at the MOMA, than a person's closet. And that is not a bad thing!
